A rare set of beautiful Oak bedside table / nightstands manufactured in Denmark during the 1960s/70s and often attributed to the renowned Danish designer Henning/Henry Kjærnulf. Kjærnulf is globally recognized for his unique fusion of Scandinavian Modern aesthetics with elements reminiscent of medieval, baroque, and even Viking styles. This design is occasionally referred to as "Danish Brutalist."
In good vintage condition, these small cabinets in quarter-sawn white oak, with dovetailed drawers and details such as the sculpted legs inspired by 18th-Century, exhibit a poetic blend of baroque and modern design. This piece seamlessly complements diverse interiors – modern, classic, Scandinavian Modern, or Art Deco – embodying a harmonious coexistence of form and function in the spirit of sustainable living.
