Vintage 1960s Oak Cabinet - Cupboard Style of Danish Design Henning Kjærnulf

€3,750.00

A Light Oak Storage Cabinet from the 1960s – in the Style of Henning Kjærnulf

This compact cabinet, crafted in light Danish oak, features a design reminiscent of Henning Kjærnulf, blending baroque influences with modern Danish design and a raw, almost brutalist expression. Its symmetrical structure is defined by sharp lines and detailed carvings, offering both visual impact and functional storage.

Despite its modest size, the cabinet offers generous storage options with a mix of large and small shelves, drawers, and lockable compartments behind paneled doors. It's ideal for modern living spaces.

The oak has been treated with a clear, mild wood oil to preserve its light tone. The overall condition is excellent, with only minor signs of age—such as a small mark on the top (highlighted in a photo with a matchbox for scale) and a few faint water spots visible in close-ups.

All pieces in our shop are carefully inspected and restored before sale. We clean thoroughly, tighten any loose screws, and ensure drawers and doors function perfectly—oiling or sanding where needed. Faulty locks are either repaired or replaced with matching vintage parts from our collection.

We don’t just resell furniture—we make sure each piece is properly restored and ready for a new life.
