Vintage Danish Modern Oak Cabinets style of Kjærnulf, 1960s. Set of 2

€1,810.00

A Danish Mid-century Modern set of cabinets or compact sideboards made from Nordic light oak. Manufactured in Denmark during the 1960/70s and often attributed to the renowned Danish designer Henning/Henry Kjærnulf. Kjærnulf is globally recognized for his unique fusion of Scandinavian Modern aesthetics with elements reminiscent of medieval, baroque, and even Viking styles. This design is occasionally referred to as "Danish Brutalist."

The cabinet stands on thick solid oak legs, with an elegantly carved low profile connecting them. Remains in excellent original condition, we have cleaned the cabinets throughoutly with water and wood cleaner and left them raw and light in appearance. Displaying a gentle patina that is consistent with its age and use.

It has been the lower part of a shelfsystem, so there remains signs of that, see pictures of filled out holes in each sides. None that disturbs the appearance of the item.

Please reach out for any questions.
